Kelly Bate - Cornwall Permanent Makeup

Kelly Bate – Cornwall Permanent Makeup

Hi I’d like to introduce myself…

Hello, my name is Kelly Bate and I am a fully qualified, licensed and insured permanent makeup artist, as well as a secondary school Mathematics teacher!  I started a career in beauty back in 2006 when I managed a beauty salon near Brighton.  I qualified in manicures and pedicures, depilation (waxing), natural nail care, gel nails, wilde-pedique (gel toe nails), eyebrow and eyelash tinting and as a make-up artist.  My knowledge and experience in this industry has developed over the years allowing me to have a great insight into what women of all ages and skin types want from their beauty regimes.

I became inspired to become a permanent makeup artist after my sister-in-law, one of the UK’s most in demand permanent makeup artists and the head trainer of the Permanent Makeup Training Academy, showed me how she transformed so many peoples lives by applying their permanent makeup.  I could not believe the results she got, how her clients were not only transformed physically but emotionally too.  The reasons people wanted permanent makeup was endless, from just wanting to perfect their natural features to conditions such as Alopecia. I am so glad to have brought this skill to Cornwall! Permanent makeup looks so good and has you looking perfect 24/7 for years, I was so happy with the results of my own permanent makeup I knew I had to offer this to others so they can feel as happy and confident as I do.  It is truly amazing!

Exclusively Trained by Katy Jobbins

Here’s a little about my training and experience in the industry…

I chose to train 1 to 1 with the multi award winning industry expert and author Katy jobbins who is the founder and head trainer of the permanent makeup training academy.

I wanted to train beside somebody I could relate too , someone who I inspired to be, and most importantly someone I trusted to teach me to the highest level of skill. I figured starting out with the best would save me a lot of struggle in the long run.

Permanent makeup is both a science and art form, it’s not just as simple as drawing on a new set of brows and tattooing them on there’s a lot more to it. There is no limit to the amount of training you can have especially when your job is your passion.

Permanent Makeup Cornwall Consultation

Your Consultation & Patch Test …

Your Consultation

As a new client, a private consultation will be required before booking a procedure. This will allow us to discuss what look it is that you are wanting to achieve, to look at before and after pictures of similar procedures and for me to answer any questions you may have. A medical questionnaire will also need to be completed.

Your Colour Selection & Patch Test

Once you have decided what treatment you would like then we can discuss what colours are suitable and I will complete a sensitivity test for you to make sure there will be no reactions to the pigments you have chosen. This takes only a minute to do but we will need to allow up to 12 hours after the test before any treatments can be had.

Your Treatment Appointment

At the end of the consultation, we will discuss suitable dates for you to return for the procedure and a non-refundable deposit will be taken to secure your treatment.

The Full Procedure Over 2 Sessions, Guaranteeing You Will Love the Final Results

Your permanent makeup procedure is performed over two or may be even three sessions each 4-6 weeks apart. This allows me to perform the initial procedure and then 6 weeks later refine the shape or colour depending your needs and how well the pigment has settled into your skin.

Everybody is different, and your skin needs 4-6 weeks to heal properly before another procedure can be performed over the top of the first procedure.
